Dear Dad.. They say I have to let you go, They say I’ve got to grieve. They say I’ve got to cry it out Because you had to leave. They say, to be thankful For the time that I had. They say it’s time to move on But, how do I do that dad? Loosing you was rough I think about you everyday But living without you is a pain that doesn’t go away I hope you know I’m trying and I’m doing my very best But, I’m not sure I’m passing, If this is just another test. Dad, I can’t even begin to put into words what you meant to me. You were the absolute epitome of everything a dad should be - and then so so so much more. You laughed with me and at me, we debated the worlds problems, you pushed me to achieve the best version of myself and you gave me all the strength I needed in the really difficult times - telling me I won’t be defined by what happens to me, but I will be defined by how I get through things. Whenever I needed help, you were always there with advice whether I wanted it or not! Thank you from the bottom of my heart as without you I would not know what I would have done at so many points in my life. You always said you were proud of all of your kids and I hope you know how proud I will always be to say I am your son - that is what I will carry forward forever. To me you were more than just a dad and you always will be. I will carry your words of wisdom with me always. I wish I would have had more time to share more amazing moments with you. You left far too soon. Please look in on me from time to time, if your not too busy partying in heaven with nan, grandad and Steve. Goodnight god bless dad! Love you always

Alright Joe I won't keep it long because your obviously watching only fools and horses or minder but I'm glad you took me into your family and knew you for 20 years you was a great dad and a great father in law and even stuck up for me when jo was on one lol but you will be looking over of all of us and you will be sadly missed I've certainly got a big hole in my heart love russ
